One in five pilots suffer from fatigue in the cockpit at least once a week, a study seen by the BBC suggests.
Balpa, who commissioned the report, is warning that problems with fatigue could get worse under European proposals that would see the maximum flying time for UK pilots going up from 900 hours in a 12-month period to 1,000 hours.

This is worrying. As the article says it is more of a problem on short haul flights and it's to be hoped that hours are not extended. This is also a problem here in the US where many pilots complain of fatigue.
