Just found this fascinating video of narrow gauge steam engines on the Ffestiniog railway, North Wales.
Always a favourite of mine, and a trip well worth it, when we go to Wales.. Even better now, since they re-opened the line through to Carnarvon.

I don`t recall seeing any of them ... so it must have been a special steam week/weekend there...
actually, looking at the backgroud of the main parts does not look like the ffestiniog at all. but the second half does ! ! ! ... .. maybe it was just the slate train that was ffestiniog.. ( which I have seen run down the line)

The little railways of Wales, are wonderful..... Been on all of them ! ... and the Brecon Mountain Railway. ( near BIG PIT )... although, the engine there was American ( and "standard gauge I think) .. and was an "oil burner" so it was not really "authentic" and in a way, a bit disappointing. considering it`s location in the heart of the Coal Mining Area ! ! ...
