A bit of northern soul anyone?

Does anyone like the music genre of Northern Soul? Film4 is showing the 2014 file of the same name tonight at 11:20, I for one will be setting it to record.

Oh yes, and someone could also do a lot worse than run a few programmes on British blues in the 60s. I was brought up on northern blues clubs which for the main part were where the likes of Clapton learned their trade. Anyone remember Long John Baldry? Ahh the memories!

@nozzer - Yes, I remember him, and enjoyed the music. I'm not quite as old as you , but enjoyed music (and reading), from quite a young age. Give me 60's/70's music any time in place of todays' attempts (with some exceptions)
