A bit breezy today....

I'm recording 40mph gusts today on a westerly breeze but it's all predicted to calm down this evening.

Re: A bit breezy today....

Just got back from a trip to Margate. No 40mph winds but what wind we had was biting cold.
Just glad to be back inside now.

Blackpool 67 but I bet some folk in Scotland have a much higher figure than that.

We had a 30ft tree blown down in our garden in Derbyshire.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Re: A bit breezy today....

Here in Edinburgh we had winds in excess of 80mph this morning first thing...it began overnight and got really bad first thing....sideways rain the lot...that rain must've been like pellets hitting peoples faces.
It's calmed right down this evening thankfully  Smiley
