A Woman's Place?

It has been suggested that the over riding purpose of our and every other living creature's existence is the continuation of the species.
The human infant is totally incapable of providing for the first year of it's life.
Putting these two thoughts together is it not reasonable to deduce that the female's duty lies at home and the male's duties are as protector and provider.
As nature intends.

Re: A Woman's Place?

OK Strat, I provide and protect myself - as I have done for most of my life being single - I never met anyone who I wanted to spend rest of life with - so have not had the dubious joy of bringing up a child.
So how does nature's intentions come into that situation?

ps it is snowing here now!

Re: A Woman's Place?

Well said Josie. That's just the sort of 'fire in the belly' response I have come to expect from you. Cool
I don't expect any responses from the men as they probably have their wives/girlfriends/partners looking over their shoulder.
PS We had some snow last night and this morning but it's fine and very cold here now.

Hey Strat, I like your style, I guess you mean wimmin's work, but I don't fancy your chances of surviving the next 24 hours!!

Re: A Woman's Place?

I'd like to help you out but, personally, I'm doing a bit of judicious fence sitting

The exception that proves the rule.
@petlew I suspect you are in good company.

PS No more exceptions please as the rule will be in danger of breaking Wink

Couldn't possibly comment, in case I incriminate myself.
