I'd be even more thankful if there was a way to exclude certain boards from the list of Unread Posts - guess which board I'd exclude first? Knuppel

That's an excellent suggestion @Jay, the Think Broadband forum allows you to choose your favourite sub-forums to create your own personal landing page.

There are definitely some who decide not to use Plusnet because of some of the offensive posts that are given space on the Plusnet provided forum

apart from yourself and your aliases.

@Browni@ I hold no allegiance to anyone's agenda including yours and @happi.

Have you not thought, though, that the ad hominem nature of your comment may be unhelpful? BTW ad hominiem does not exclude ' ad uxorem'. Smiley

I must have been really bad in a previous life. This was my 3rd ISP in a row that used lithium.
Now you lot are going to suffer because my current ISP doesn't run a forum Cheesy

 Why is it that because I find some members objectionable you automatically assume I'm part of the 'PC Brigade'

I'm no fan political correctness, I'm just less of a fan of the kind of idiots that throw around terms like ''PC Brigade', or 'its political correctness gone made' with regularity!

Those who do fall into two categories as far as I'm concerned;

The terminally ill informed, that regurgitate the rubbish they've read on Facebook, or in the DM etc without checking the legitimacy of the story,

And those that hide behind anti PC rhetoric to excuse behaving like arseholes.

That un-PC enough for you?

Why on earth did you join then

I would politely ask that you follow your own advice.

There is an online saying that goes something like this " don't feed the trolls " ignore them and they will go away.  Now go and get some sunshine Smiley

Ha, ha! My modesty forbids me to say that I must have needed a good grasp of English to get three Language A Levels sixty odd years ago, There may have some slippage since then.Wink

Ad hominem is posting to the man not the theme. Ad uxorem- the woman- a joke on those, who can't accept language inclusiveness in he, him and such like.
