started learning 3d, heres some results - ya im bored
hourglass - first ever render

p38 work in progress
need to redo the spontoons for proportions



any other 3d modelers on here?

upon revisiting the p38, i have found that there are some major errors in my model, thus im going to can the project and just continue with my tutorial pages - and for now the supplied files - checting i know

Could you explain (for a non-artist) what is wrong apart from a few aliasing errors on the curves (if you look really closely)?

its not anti aliased, its due to the low poly count.
the spontoons vertices towards the rear are off positoon along the y axis causing them to be thinner than they should be forcing the protrusion of the exhaust, the wings are fine apart from 2 vertices on the edges that are causing the 'lip' the gondala has 3 x vertices thats out of alignment so i cant cut the polygons to form the cockpit.

is how its meant to look from the tutorial
