It might be less flawed than measurements used so far but patient satisfaction alone may not be a perfect measure of best care. One can imagine a service which keeps the patient happy but does not do what is best for them or a service that is willing to make a patient unhappy by insisting on something unpleasant happening for good clinical reasons. Given the same service patients in some areas may be more demanding than in others so the results are purely subjective.

More reasons why this new scoring should not become "a single measure for the quality of NHS care across the country." (including how easily trusts can bias the results).
