3 foods question

So, my queston today is -
Can you think of 3 foods, NONE of which could be eaten with any either of the others?
I can't remember how I ever started thinking about this, but from time to time I try to come up with a list and never manage it.  It doesn't matter so much if you WOULD eat the two foods together, but whether they could be eaten together, taste-wise.
Eg
rice
chocolate
cheese
You wouldn't eat rice and chocolate, you wouldn't eat chocolate and cheese, but you could eat rice and cheese in the same forkful, even if it's not a traditional combination.
Probably someone will now come up with one right off the bat.....

Re: 3 foods question

maybe you wouldnt, but I bet there are people who do  I.E.  Mascapone (a cheese) and chocolate together is a common mixture, or a chocolate rice pudding.
But some for other reaons than taste.  i.e. pineapple and jelly, it wont set

Re: 3 foods question

Fair point Mr P.  But that just make its even more difficult to find 3 foods which don't go together.
I didn't know that pineapple stopped jelly from setting though.  Is it too acidic?

Re: 3 foods question

You get ricecakes that have a chocolate coating.  As I do not eat wheat I oftend have cheese on ricecakes too.
I would not eat fish and chocolate together,  or meat and chocolate together.

Re: 3 foods question

dunno about three foods together, but don't eat mushrooms and rhubarb in the same meal.  apparently one will release toxins in the other.

Re: 3 foods question

I think I'd only eat rhubarb if I was in prison and it was the only thing on the menu.  Even then I'd probably jump into theelectric chair first.

Re: 3 foods question

You can eat anything you like together but I am not commenting on the after effects.  Cheesy
Chocolate + Rice = CoCo Pops
and for Chocolate & Cheese you need to read thisRoll eyes
