21st October 2015

As every fan of the Back to the Future films know this was the date that Marty McFly was transported to in the second installment.
He was met with hover boards, video walls amongst other things but how much did the film get right?
Not sure I would be keen on flying cars or even hover boards  Cheesy
Here's a countdown to the big day Wink

I suspect it was because he went 30 years in the past in the first and the plan was then to go 30 years into the future. Part III was 100 years in the past.

Re: 21st October 2015

March 2015:-  Rick Deckard became a replicant hunter..........aka Blade runner - bit far fetched for 2015.
It was also 2015 (according to planet of the apes) when a simian flu outbreak kills off a percentage of the human race:- The outbreak starts at Heathrow airport.

Don't forget the Eugenics wars of the 1990s after which Kahn Noonien Singh was launched into space in 1996 on a DY-100 sleeper ship called the S.S. Botany Bay... Grin

Re: 21st October 2015

I thought I recognised that date.....

1805 - Battle of Trafalgar, British Admiral Nelson defeats French & Spanish fleet but shot and killed
Although I was not actually there, at the time...... ( was busy on the forum ! ! ! ).... Cheesy

so 2015 will be the 210th anniversary  !..
