2010

In a few hours we enter a new decade and into the year 2010.  A lot of discussion on how we will pronounce the year.  Will it be 0-10, Twenty 10, Two-Ten, 2K10, Two zero One Zero etc.
I think we'll be saying Twenty 10.  We've already set a precedence with with our Olympics preparations in Twenty 12.

This seems to be the answer:

From March 2010, the age identifier will be 10, changing to 60 in September 2010.  In March 2011, the age identifier will be 11, changing six months later to 61.

Re: 2010

Great firework display at the London Eye to welcome in 2010. Smiley  It cost £313k to put on.
It was also nice to see neighbours with firework displays at midnight.  Didn't last long but it lit the sky up for a few minutes.  It's becoming quite a tradition in recent years locally.
A Happy New Year to everyone on the forums. Smiley Smiley

Re: 2010

Glad you liked the Midnight? firework display, but did they have to start at 19:00 around here and keep going from different location all within window rattling distance of here
