1,2,3...

1) Smartphone blank screen, buttons do nothing... expensive ?

Took out battery, put back in, rebooted.................. OK

2) Microwave, reheating batch cooked meal, door wouldn't lock shut... though still under warranty

Shut door a few times, with door release button pressed, eventually came good.

3)  Tesco C&C order, for first time in weeks, had no Granary loaf.

Attendee said was probably OOS at midnight when order fulfilled.

Quick trip into store....... loads of Granary on shelves.

What's next ?

I'm staying in.... just in case.

Re: 1,2,3...

I was always taught that these things come in threes, so you should OK for a while.  🤞

The older I get, the earlier it gets late.

4) Today, as for the past few days, the main Ctrl key on my computer was playing up....

I use it several times a day to shortcut key enter date in Excel.

I should have remembered the KISS principle.....

I spent ages on the web with Google searching for reasons......

Some software glitch ?

Even removed the key and cleaned location, still not working.

Then I remembered, as you do, I had another similar keyboard in a cupboard, along with a couple of touch bluetooth mini ones, which I don't like using.

So.... swapped keyboards.... result, all functions restored !

I should have remembered the KISS principle.....

Would have only taken a few minutes to sort !

Replacement OEM keyboard is £120+

And I still have two bluetooth keyboards for the future.

I did buy a spare keyboard a few years back, £20 then.....

(The RH Ctrl key worked fine, just not used to using it)

So, roll on 5)...
