xbox360 hdd problems
I bought a 120Gb drive off ebay, the seller said it had been wiped and needed re-initialising, but when I got it the drive spins up*1 but is not recognised by my transfer kit or the xbox. 
I can only assume that the drive is faulty and have asked for a refund from the seller - he wants it returned (fine) I will as long as he pays for the return postage (why should I be out of pocket on this purchase?)
Anyone had a similar drive problem and fixed it? (before I return it)
*1Running dmesg on my Linux box shows my 20gb drive fine - unknown partition type but xplorer shows the contents in a vm fine, but the 120gb is just not seen at all - I thought it maybe power so connected it to a powered hub but it doesn't show then either.
