Hi all,
As I'm sure you're aware, we're still working on this. More capacity went live this morning and there'll be further changes to the configuration on the ellacoyas later on, plus a detailed update from Bob on what's happening will be up on http://status.plus.net later.
We're sorry this is going on as long as it is.

Last 10 days not had any real problems (then again I haven't played much this week) but tonight it is really bad again.
How long has this been dragging on for?
Should rename the Plusnet Pro package to the Plusnet Poo package.

Im almost glad other people are having problems (means its not just me!) althoguh i feel your pain - not bother raising concerns before as im used to the traditional ISP fob offs when it comes to ping stability.
comically i was shouting upstairs at my housemate to get off the web today as i figured it was him spiking me to death, only then do i find out hes not even in and its the ISP
To be honest, when paying for a pro package purely for gaming I dont expect these issues to be dragging on for a month, maybe even more (im playing quakelive), I had pipex as an isp before and amazingly that service (dispite the appalling pipex reputation) destroyed this plusnet 'pro' package i have now.
Will log a support call, but also be enquring about how longs left on my contract, was just hoping this would be resolved by now ; (

Last night was ok ping wise for me when gaming, but tonight... utter pants yet again.
I asked on a ticket for a refund of some monies or to down grade my package to value, because pro is poo, I cant game, so not gonna lose anything moving to value.
They "can't" move me to value until 22nd Dec, and "cant" refund me any money for a service I has recieved/used.... errr what service? the high latency pro package obviously!
Sick and tired of this, considering just paying the £35 charge or whatever it is and just moving to someone like aquis?(sp) or Zen.

can't even play tonight it is so bad, is anyone else feeling the pain tonight?
If it is not fixed by January then I am leaving, I feel that is more than a fair time limit for plusnet to sort their issues.

Status update;
A few days after this post plusnet made some changes and my pings where bloody brilliant again, absolutely fantastic. Alas tonight same old story, too many little boys streaming hannah montanna...
UK cs server (surely this game is like 10 years old now)
Largest ping on the server.
Could you please ask Anthony Vollmer if he would pay my £35 leaving charge? I don't see why I should be even more out of pocket for a service which is less reliable than the "National Express" rail service.
