I made this post so that all us PC gamer's can show off! our rigs feel free to post a pic of your gaming PC or post your specs if you got no camera... ill post mine once i built my new rig soon, got my new case today just waiting for the motherboard and CPU

Here's my most recent build.  Its a Lian Li PC B10 case, ASUS Maximus V Formula mainboard, Intel 3570K CPU @4.2 Ghz, 16 GB Corsair Dominator GT 2133 Mhz RAM, OCZ Vertex 4 256GB SSD, ASUS 670 GTX 4GB, Corsair H80 Watercooler and Corsair AX750 PSU.  Running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit.
I also swapped out all of the standard case fans for the Corsair 120mm and 140mm ones with the coloured trim and also got a hold of the red braided cables for the PSU to kep the red and black theme throughout the case.  I name all my PCs and this one is called CORSUS as it is mainly a Corsair / ASUS build.
Theres an old 1 TB SATA3 HDD in there but I've now got a 4TB iOmega NAS set up (accesible on LAN and WAN).  I've still got an optical drive in there as unfortunately our exchange is still only ADSL and I'm so far away I only get 1.2 MBit.  Still, it's enough for me and the wife to site and play World of Warcraft and use Teamspeak on our raid nights!!  Try to do anything else while one person is gaming though and the latency goes stupid. Even a web browser destroys pings (35ms up to 999+) if you try to access even a simple web page.  Thankfully our exchange is currently 'under evaluation' as part of the Connecting Cambridgeshire project which should see fibre access to 98% of homes.
Enjoy the eye candy, a lot of effort went into this....

Fly me. Did you braid all those cables yourself, or buy the pre-done ones? I know from (failed) experience just how hard it is to do that...

I'll hopefully have a few shots to come soon, rebuilding mine with a new EK rad soon, probably this weekend.

I bought the official Corsair braided cables.  I've braided cables in the past and it can be a nightmare.  I'm a bit OCD when it comes to a clean interior on a case and with each new PC, the attention to detail gets more involved!
I also love LianLi cases and have a PC6070 that I wet sanded and hand polished so it's shiny all over.  It's not suitable for modern systems though as it only has 80mm fan holes.  I've thought about de-rivetting the case and modding some of the panels so that they will take 120mm fans but just can't be bothered at the moment!  It's been a long time since I modded a case.

It needs a good going over with some proper jewellers rouge and an electric polishing head to bring it back to it's glory but i can't bring myself to throw it in the bin!!

Wow. I'd be taking those panels off and going straight at the fan holes with a dremel, that's a beauty! There no way to drill the rivets out on a different case shell and fit those shiny panels to it instead?

those cases are nice
I don't clean mine out often enough, but I too have a petrol can case (coolermaster storm scout) its been modified with a pair of tin snips though (when I got it 4 years ago I didn't realise the original GPU's wouldn't fit in it .......)
maybe i'll clean it out and post a pic (complete with my nasty mod)

I had a wire catching on a fan, so I dragged my case out and at the same time thought I would take a picture.
