nat always strict after joining elite on xbox cod 2

Hi, can anyone help with this? Ive never had a problem with my NAT on xbox....on a whim one day decided to join elite when playing COD2 and ever since then I have been having problems with my NAT...it's either on strict or moderate, Im forever having to turn router on and off ...does anyone have any suggestions, or can advise how to get rid off elite, cant see any helpful information on the website. Thanks

Hi have already tried that..as I said never had a problem before, now its constantly on strict.

When you've run the commands to set your NAT type to open, have you entered the SAVE all command as posted on the comments below the instructions on how to do this.
