console key not working HELP

hi every one.
can anyone help me, i have just started to play c. o. d. world at war, on multiplayer and i press the consol key but it does not work, it did but now no joy, any  help would be great.

In the options (multiplayer options I think) you need to enable console before you can actually access it.
