is this being blocked ive had trouble with call of duty games since advanced warefare my kills are very hard to get now as in i was an average mid player rarely getting to top but never at the bottom.  but since aw im allways at the bottom i all ways have 3 times more deaths than kills as does my wife and my kids. now we cant be that unlucky so please tell me i have done ping to account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com here are the results

ive also read all over the net about this blackhole and i seem to be a victim has this been the cause the whole time and can it be fixed

wednesday i had bt out to make sure the line is ok and remove excess cable i went out after seeing on comunity that routers cause problems,  and bought the best i could get in my area so i bought the asus RT-AT87U and from what ive seen its the nuts.
also i can see what device is using what data and set my ps4 as the main for traffic and yet it only uses when downloading. not when gaming it seems my connection is somehow a second or so behind others when playing and only sends or recieves at around 60kbps surely this isnt right not with todays games yes maybe for the old days of the 56k but games were very basic then and now they arnt.  so can someone please tell me how i fix this as my controll pad has so many times nearly gone through the tv lol.

have you checked in the asus forums to see if anyone can help you with the correct config for the console and the router so it works perfectly for your game ?
your tracert indicates your console is in the dmz, when running something in the dmz your clamping its access unless you've setup special rules in the qos for each of the ports used it only applys to the standard tcp 80/ udp445 traffic, so you might want ot read up on that as well /

I wouldn't take a failed traceroute or non pingability of some server to mean anything - it's quite common.
Your observations on BO3 are spot on though. We think the same on xbox one and so it seems do a lot of people on "the internet". I think it's more the game or the servers rather than your connection.

My asus router is setup with advanced qos dedicated to gaming also I've found out some more on the invisible lag or latency issues and found that half my problem 2as actually input lag from ps4 to my nice 4k tv.
Turns out that it over processes the signals to creates excessive lag but fixable by disabling a few things even after enabling game mode.
My games are much better but still doesn't explain that most networks trying to trace route psn get the same backhole and gets no further.

well TV's are not normally the best for gaming regardless a proper monitor is much better in terms of screen lag, that goes ditto for wireless controllers and wifi connections (all add to input lag)
with regards to the latency you get to the psn if its less than 80ms to the game server your not likely to see any difference, over 120 the difference in twitch gaming becomes visibly noticeable but mostly because your using a tv instead of a proper monitor.
I tend to game on the pc rather than the console for online stuff because of those problems (which happen on all TV's for years) and use the tv/console solely for sp or campaign games but that's a personal preference.
the blackhole redirect for ping is actually normal and covered in one of the rfc's about ways to stop attack vectors like Ping Of Death (P.O.D.) amplify or old school DDOS ping based attacks that swamp the networks, decent game networks or companies utilise a co-located ip address (shares the data center) for the loopback test, so that gamers can test the connection speed to servers and they publish that address either to the console (local test address for local connection) or to the website faq for you to use a different device for network diagnostics .... but that's all part of why some people go with different gaming options
