Just got a new email address from PN and thought it would be a good idea to update my Xbox Live account with my new email addy. So I logged into my account and tried to update my email address. The first thing it tried to do was send a verification code to my old email address which I can no longer access, brilliant. I was then offered an alternative verification method by sending a code to my mobile phone by text. I did this and entered the code MS texted me, only to find that my account is now semi locked, I can't modify any details.
This is just to add my mobile number to my account for security, not to change my email address.
What an absolute farce! I changed my PSN password in 5 mins, it's going to take MS 30 days to do the same, ridiculous.
