Xbox game content, classified as download site?

I'm guessing yes, as it's taking ages to download the new map pack for MW2.
Ok I know everyone will be busy downloading them at the moment, but by calculations it's going to take over 2 hours to download the 359mb on the xbox.  Roll_eyes
At that rate, I might as well cancel it and wait until midnight when it;ll probably do it in 20 mins or so.
Unless it's not classifed as download, and it's just generally busy.
Edit:  Took 1hr in the end,  Not too bad in the end.

Yep, downloads from XBOX live are classified as download servers. We recently updated this page to make that information clearer: http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/speed_guide/download_speeds.shtml

Re: Xbox game content, classified as download site?

I'm on the older premier package I believe.
Seems like we may have to download larger games and demos after midnight.  Shame the xbox doesn't have a scheduled download or scheduled switch on option.  Guess people will have to either put up with the speed being slightly slower, or stay up til after midnigth to set it away.  Not an issue for me as i'm usually up til gone 1am anyway.  Grin
