Re: Xbox One

There was an article on IGN.com last month stating that they're working on backward compatibility for Xbox One via Cloud servers.
Might take a couple of years to get it launched but at least it's in the pipeline.

Re: Xbox One

^^ Isn't that what Sony will be doing? regardless although I have a 360 I wont be buying the xbone. I am plummeting towards a Wii U and hopefully come Christmas I shall have one. Where else are you going to get all the Nintendo goodness? And I will be able to play some PS4/Xbone titles on the Wii U and best of all Its backwards compatible with all my Wii games/DLC.

Re: Xbox One

The backward compatibility issue has taking on a similar life to the Xbox One 'no sharing of games' issue.

Re: Xbox One

Also, I read somewhere online, might've been IGN, that in about 2 or 3 years time, MS will stop supporting the Xbox 360, meaning no more 360 games, by which time hopefully the backward compatibility on Xbox One will be sorted, so people will probably be obliged to upgrade to Xbox One, but by then it''ll have been out for a while and will have more games etc, I've decided to hold off getting one till they iron out the bugs, if any.. I'm already on my third 360 because of stuff like overheating and the red rings of death.

Yeah...but didn't it cause a stink at the time and a rapid back-peddle by MS.
