Re: Xbox Live Nat Settings

best bet is to set a static ip up for the xbox and then put that ip in to the dmz feature of most routers. just searching the forum to find if any one has done this on the v8 and so far it seems vague. have you got the uPNP function turned on (port forwarding)?

seems a tricky subject, and i havent found the soultion but maybe its some where in those results

Re: Xbox Live Nat Settings

hum this post jogged my memory of when i played with the v8 a few years ago.
my self if i remember right tho it killed all connections lan side and didnt have time to find out why but its still your best bet as it was probably a case of reboot all hardware to refresh the settings across the lan

how to login to your router, http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/hardware/thomson_advanced.shtml
edit. make sure the ip that the router gives your xbox is the same every time as the one you put in the dmz, as if the router gives this out to a pc there will be no hardware firewall protecting the pc, gaming consoles are fine to open up to the world
