Xbox 360 Special Edition controller( Transforming D-Pad)

Is cheap right now at time of posting at Argos, £29.99, I bought one today and will be testing out the D-Pad later tonight, It better be an Improvement!!
Also at Argos you get It with a plug and play charge Kit, Was £39.99 so If you need a new joypad now's the time

My wireless one is still going fine, on its second set of play&charge batteries though

That dude was playing street fighter though and you don't know just how rough he treated It, My other joypads are still fine but wanted this as I hope Its better for my Pacman game than the standard D-Pad, I will report back In 3 weeks

I suppose it is how often you use it, I rarely use it other than the odd occasion so mine is like new (the D-pad that is not the controller)

That guy claims he Is a hardcore street fighter player, If I was hardcore like that I would be Investing In one of them fighting sticks.

Interested to know what peoples experiences are with this as I *hate* the d-pad on the stock Xbox controllers. I've also a few games now where I'd prefer to use the d-pad over the analogue sticks.

@bob, I have been playing Pacman DX ( championship edition) on my 360 with the new joy-pad using the D-Pad and so far I can say Its an Improvement on the standard D-Pad, Much better IMHO.

I am a big fan of the new controller, got mine from amazon for 29.99.  It appears its only available with the play&charge kit so I now have a spare cable and a spare battery pack.
