Hi,
I've been checking this out, the UnrealTourney_2 application is actually a second bundle of rules for the series of Unreal Tournament games rather than rules for a specific "Unreal Tournament 2" game. As such it includes all the necessary ports for Unreal Tournament 2004 as well as some non-standard ports for the original game. Because the games share (some) ports and have similar signatures it's easier to bundle the games together.
