Two weeks to switch! :(

Just got my text message saying i'll be online on the 16th.
Was hoping it would be faster as my internet gets cut off from O2 tomorrow! Nearly a week without internet
Is there anyway to speed the process up or is it a case of 'patience is a virtue' as they say.

u pay by DD or card, DD takes time and adds at least 5 days on to an order

Why are you without internet for so long? When I switched from Sky my internet never got cut off. The day that it migrated it was down for about 2 hour, but that was it.

Paying by Card.. Yeah I never got cut off moving from IDNET to O2, but for some reason because im on a free month with O2 they are cutting me off tomorrow.
Said they would send me a jiffy bag to post them their router back but they haven't either.

We're running the final checks on your telephone line before submitting your order.
When signing up it states it will take up to a week to get connected, just wondering why im different? Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Hi Andy,
Broadband orders take 5 working days to complete, so one week is normal.  Your order completion date is a week after your first forum post in here?

You've gone the same route as me IDnet, O2 and now plusnet. Though i have joined plusnet due to not having O2 LLU at the exchange i'm now on.
But you shouldn't be cut off if you have a MAC code.
