ThomsonTG585 v7 & PS3 Slim

Hi,
I am hoping that someone can help me...
I am trying to connect my PS3 to the Thomson modem router.
So far Laptop, PS3, Android phone and iPod have all gone on with no issues.
I have tried every which way i can see frm the forums, manually assigning an ip etc etc, it has connected and then when i try to download something it drops the connection.
UPnP is enabled, i have the right SSID and the roght key, but it does time out when it is exchanging keys.
Can anyone help....please???

As an update...
I have tried a wired connection and no problem...but strangely the PS3 gets given a strange IP Adress of
10.98.66.208
when all other devices are:
192.168.1.###
Confused 😞
