The Sims 3

It's due out soon, but even so it appears to have been leaked to the online world early.  Naturally this is a "bad thing", especially for people who want to sit and wait before getting the Sims 3 and figuring out new and fantastic ways of killing the little blighters.
One of the rumors is that the leaked version is from EA, they messed up and offered it for download from their own website, the fact it has DRM would seem to uphold that.  But that brings up the question of DRM, it seems to obviously not work in the slightest if the game is not only available, but is playable weeks before its due to be released!
One of the funny remarks is "EA took the risk of not putting DRM onto TS3, and this is what happens, now they will ensure its packed with even MORE DRM next time!!!!" without looking at the fact, it had DRM on it, and the DRM was broken quickly.
I don't think EA will lose much sleep over it, its publicity for the game, and people who were going to buy it, will still buy it, and people who were going to download it, will still download it, if anything they may get more people buying it to see what all the fuss was about.
So what can EA do?  Other than improve their security so it doesn't get leaked again (if memory serves, Spore got leaked too didn't it?)
