TF2 and a single figure ping

I hopped on TF2 just now and was amazed to have a single figure ping of 7.
Back in the day if i had that i would of smeared my body in honey and made serious love to my PC in ways that you can't imagine.
I think the lowest i've ever had is in the region of 30ms but 7 ..sheesh.
Was stable to !
Just need to build a decent rig now.
Oh and TF2 wasn't bad either .. the no grenade thing sucks tho.

Its was on a Jolt UK server, for some reason i've always had a good connection to Jolt and i think thats might have something to do with them both having servers in Telehouse in London.
As for TF2 i think its been dumbed down for the masses which i think will put off alot of the old school TFC'ers as theres seems to be no skill involved now just a brute force method of entering bases to get caps with hwg and medics.
