Steam issues today?

Problems logging in were it says pw is wrong, so first port of call is password retrieval/change but even that is failing

logged in now, but not sure why if the login was working to a point but looks like PN DNS servers were at fault.  I had to move opendns servers to highest priority to get it to work.

Hi Gus,
Have you got further details on the fault with our DNS?
Steam is a pretty mainstream product and would have expected the error it presents to be applicable to the problem it is facing. i.e password incorrect meaning just that.
However password reset, I can understand may be a little different and will obviously depend on the output.

I am using Plusnet DNS servers - router is set to automatic

Login was failing with 212.159.6.9 as primary and secondary 208.67.220.220, with the steam client open it was showing as No Connection at the bottom of the window.  I switched the DNS servers about and logged in fine next attempt and no longer had the No connection status.
Before that change I could not login or use the pw changer via the client, as it failed on entering the verification code you are sent by email
