Sony announces premium online service!

From Sony Computer Entertainment boss Kaz Hirai:
“SCE will further increase sales by offering users new entertainment through the combination of hardware, software, peripheral and PlayStation Network
.  Especially in the online area, we are studying the possibility of introducing a subscription model, offering premium content and services, in addition to the current free services." 
Very intresting i mean what can they offer on top of a free service?

Mostly likely film downloads/rentals, on a Love Film type model.  Quite under-developed at the moment. 
I think I'll be happy with the free stuff for now.  I really only use it for games and blu ray discs.

They offer that at the moment with vidzone! im thinking access to 3RD online gaming....

Well if Sony start charging for extra services it'll shut the fanboys up with their shouts that xbox is worse coz we pay for online, even though we get SO much more and a reliable service
