Tiscali seem to be the worst culprits though people are reporting it on BT too. Have a look at http://www.infinityward.com/community/forum/index.php?topic=9245.330

Tiscali just provide backhaul for Plusnet, so they wouldn't have the opportunity to filter.

Exchange contention may be a different question though.

Quote from: jelv depends upon how much you trust Tiscali...
As a previous Tiscali customer, about as much as you can swim in a puddle!

As somebody who escaped Tiscali a few weeks ago....I really hope we dont get the same issues here.
Many of my friends have migrated here due to problems with online gaming through tiscali.

I'm absolutely certain that will never ever happen.
Glad you managed to escape from their evil cluthes Similar things going on at Pipex currently which is rather sad to see.

Quote from: jelv The fact that Tiscali retail are blocking P2P means that there is a capacity problem somewhere!
If you go into the Tiscali forums they are admitting to a "bandwidth management" issue which has been ongoing for some time. Very little information though. I read it as either:
1. Cost/capacity/profit
2. Management software has a MAJOR bug - they use something from Cisco I believe.
Whatever it is there are an awful lot of angry people there.
