For the record, I'm liking the sound of the PS4 a lot more at the moment but I won't be getting either on release day. Might get a PS3 though if the price drops enough

I have an XBox 360 slim thing by the way and a PS3.
The XBox is mainly hogged by my stepson - he uses it for his games. The PS3 was given to me a couple of months ago by my brother-in-law when he came over from France. Both USB ports were broken so I soldered a USB extension cable onto the motherboard, bought a controller to test it worked (which it did), put it under the stairs and it's been there ever since

I don't really play games any more - I used to back in the Amiga days, but since I work on PC's all day I can't really be bothered to get into them.
Speaking to a friend that does, he's an XBox defector too. Told me he's already pre-ordered a PS4 as he doesn't want to put up with the DRM restrictions, which to me sound well OTT.
Surprised they don't make the games work like coin-ops - you can play for so long per day until you pay per minute. Oh hang on, I think iPhone games have already beaten them to that

I stuck with Microsoft even after they abandoned the xbox when the 360 came out. Now the new xbox Isnt even backward compatible with the collection I've collected over the years? That with loads of other reasons that I cant be bothered typing about Is why I am cross and wont be getting the new xbox.
Don't know If I can switch to the PS4 either as I've not played any previous games on the Sony console so not sure If I can just jump straight In to the likes of Killzone or God of war?
Wii U most probably. That Is where the fun ls to be had and that Is why I started gaming from back In the 80's anyway. For the fun factor. Not for a series of FPS on a console that requires stoopid Kinect and calling home every 24HRS.
