Do you have rocket league ? 

Would this event intrest you ?

Nothing is offically planned yet, the idea is .. its been a while since the community gave plusnet staff a wooping in gaming so how about it ... Rocket League whos up for it.

I am the same. I have put in around 10 hours but its always been a bit here, a bit there for 1 or two matches.

It is a great game though and works very well with the steam link and controller. Would be interesting to play using teamspeak to coordinate the team as playing with randoms is a bit of a free for all.

Thats largely what has been holding me back, waiting for a group of people to play it with rather than relying on the fate of the internet to match me up with people who arent infuriating...  One of the reviewers on PCG commented on how his experience of the game varied wildly due to who he played with (ie trolling morons and sensible players) and thus found the game difficult to review objectively because of that...

I had it on PS4, even bought a BTTF DeLorean pac for it, played online once, nobody played it again, sold my PS4 to buy PC Master Race parts, so, yeah, it had it's 5 minutes of not a whole lot of fun...

Im quite a way off being Shaq as it seems I am completely incapable of jumping in any kind of useful fashion

I was not great at the jumping technique either until I realised there is a double jump mechanic. Basically when you do a jump you can hit the jump button again with a direction and you will spin in that direction. You can basically get it to 'kick' the ball in mid-air rather than just jumping at the ball.
