Rainbow Six: Siege Connection problem with Battleye

Ever since changing over to Plusnet I have not been able to play Rainbow Six Siege. The game keeps kicking me out because the Battleye client is not responding.

Plusnet customer service is convinced that nothing is wrong, but the connection/router is all that has changed.

FOA Plusnet Techs - Is there any traffic filtering that you can enable that can pass through the required traffic?

I have put my PC in a DMZ and disabled my firewall, but it made no difference.

This is what Ubisoft and Battleye say on the matter....

Battleye Client not responding

This can happen if the server’s or your connection times out for quite a while or breaks up completely. A common solution is to update your modem/router’s firmware. Also, make sure that you aren’t running “Cucusoft Net Guard” which is incompatible with BE. Other than that, please ensure that there are no problems with your internet connection (you might want to contact your ISP).

The ping and speeds I have through plusnet are brilliant, so is there nothing else that can be done?

Re: Rainbow Six: Siege Connection problem with Battleye

Hi @filwhip did you ever resolve this?

I wonder if it was/is a firewall issue? or if certain ports need to be open on the router?
