Hi folks,
I got this from Plus Net today and wanted to configure the QoS for my 360.
I've searched the 'net, and the only configuration I could find didn't have screen shots that related to what I see when I access the control panel of my router.
Is there anyone here who could take me through this step by step ? I would be eternally thankful as this is advanced user territory.
My last router had a " tick the box ", system for QoS, now I'm lost.
Here's a screenshot of the dilemma before me.
Cheers,
Ben.

Is there anyone else likely to be using the net connection at the same time as you?
If not it's probably not worth the effort of setting this up, your internet traffic will be correctly prioritised by PN, that would be more of a bottle neck than your local network.

My good lady wife, lightz of my life , apple of my eye etc..
is usually using her laptop when I'm gaming.
The 360 is hardwired and her laptop is wireless, so can I assume that the PN magic will still give my 360 priority ?
If so, cool ! I'm quite happy to leave the configuration as it is if the difference is truly negligble.( dumb AND lazy

Yep, my OH is often surfing whilst I game and I don't have any issues. Your gaming traffic will always be prioritised by PN.

Sweet. Thank you for the quick response Adiewoo.
I guess I can't blame my wife for my poor performance online - oh well.
Cheers.

I have the same router and from what i can find out about it ,its QoS works automatically .
The options in the router are to add applications that it would not normally consider priority traffic.
