Having just installed Quake 4 and played it to the end - it actually isn't that bad considering its age - I thought I would try Quake 2 as it is absolutely ages since I played that (and two computer builds ago)
Big mistake - after updating to the unofficial patched version to get it to run properly - what a waste of time. It is really dated so now uninstalled
