Problems with ISP's moving from to. Better or worse?

Hi all. I'm currently in the process of moving from O2 to here and I have read a few threads which are a little discomforting. I have migrated (in the process) from O2 because of the really atrocious dl speeds from 5-6pm until 12 midnight. I'm a gamer. My pc is used soley for this. I need a decent connx like all of you within these walls that we post. Now I find posts stating that PN is no better if not worse so it seems. Is there anyone that has come also from O2 to PN that would say it is worse or better as far as gaming goes? Please be honest in your replies.

lol i just posted in reply to your other post before finding this one.
What sort of pings were/are you getting on O2? It is not the download speed as such that is the problem with PN, well, as far as my situation is concerned, it is high pings that are the major issue.
