Pirates of the Burning Sea is going F2P on the 22nd of November, I'd recommend anybody who was a fan of Sid Meiers Pirates! - and lets face facts, weren't we all ? - give it a try. It has the best PvP/RvR combat system I've ever experienced in ship combat, avatar combat needs work, but hopefully it gets there. There's just been an expansion released that introduces such impovements as port governence, allowing you to become the governor of your own town.
