Thats absolutely outrageous, I didnt realise only yanks could suffer from I.D theft    I'd be goin mental if I played on the PSN network

The id protection stuff is not just for the US - its just that details have been finalized/announced for the eu yet

Yes but it will be more secure, faster and more stable as well as more feature rich.
Hacking of the games will be a thing of the past and game prices will be much lower....
