PSN Downlaod Speeds NOT good enough!

Just noticed there is a Resident Evil 5 Demo available, thought i would give it a try.
Was going to attach a video i took but you cant (apparently). Currently sitting at 270kb out of 945MB. Moving about 10-15kb every 10 seconds!!!
I appreciate that speeds are restricted at different times etc, but this is pretty bad.
FYI got my mate to test his d'l speed with BT (homehub) and its maxing out!

Hiya,
I hadn't seen this thread until now, for which I apologise.
As you're aware PSN traffic is treated in a sopecific way - it's classified as a "download server", which are limited from 4pm until midnight.
Outside of those hours, it's much faster. 
I'm sorry that this has been a bit of a pain.

Yeah, I know it's not been great recently.
We should have been starting to see the benefit of the recently introduced additional capacity, but unfortunately there's been a lot more gold traffic on our network because of the number of people working from home, which has made non gold traffic come down slower than usual.

I simply cant stay up until midnight to switch my PS3 on, perhaps i should buy a timer!
First bad thing i have found about Plusnet since joining, almost a year ago.

ooh - resident evil 5 demo eh.  see if i can get it all downloaded before 4pm!  interesting to see they've started doing monday psn store updates now as well.  still got my fingers crossed for lumines supernova and super streetfighter 2 turbo HD remix for thursday though...

There's been a lot more HTTP traffic on the network the last 2 evenings in particular, and a lot more people online than a normal Tuesday so probably people not just staying home from work but also staying home in the evening too.
I'm trying to make a few tweaks to improve the performance of stuff like the Playstation network and iTunes right now, probably going to get the best performance on the gateway PCL-AG3 as the network isn't yet balanced following the new bandwidth and that gateway has the best performance right now.
