PS4 firmware 4.5 should be arriving today

and it's a biggie. 

Looking forward to adding an external drive for game storage, just ordered a new one

When I read this I asked my son to turn on his PS4 it reported an update was available and it's just completed all done and dusted in less than 3 minutes.

When he said its a biggie I think he meant in terms of new features (like adding an external hdd among other things).

You mean I've upgraded my grandson's PS4 from 500GB to 2TB for nothing

pretty much at least when he fills that you can just get an external and stick it in

I've not got a 4TB external drive plugged into it and redownloaded a bunch of games I'd removed before using it and have to say it works pretty well.
