PS4 Nat type 2 & strict

I am using a Thomson TG585 V8 and have tried all the port forwarding advice. When i test the port using PFPortChecker it tells me that the ports are not open or not reachable. Tried putting the PS4 into DMZ but couldnt connect to the net. Been at this all day, I have noticed on some sites people have pointer towards the router, if so can anyone recommend a replacement or further instructions on a fix

Anyone ?  Is it straight forward to set up my own purchased router with Plusnet ?

have you disabled upnp in the router and the ps4.is it one game you are having problem with...........
