PS3 firmware update

About the only change I've noticed in the update is that the BBC iPlayer now works.
Well it displays a blocky picture  Can't believe there isn't access to the high quality stream.
Anyone else tried it yet?

I've just had a play with it and it seems to work ok. Not the best picture in the world but watchable.
I think that this update is probably only the first step towards full iPlayer compatibility. Hopefully they'll improve the picture quality and then do a full media launch like they did for the Wii. I reckon that Sony would want to put a shortcut on the XMB as well.
I've been using www.ps3iplayer.com for some time. The problem is that it's never been properly supported so was often unavailable. A BBC supported service is definitely a step in the right direction.
