I am having huge problems updating any PS3 games at present.
Battlefield3 will not update to 1.07. Max Payne 3 will not update etc.
Each update begins but comes back with download times of 500 minutes or more (for 2Gb!!!). I did try the overnight method but when I checked in the morning the updates returned errors.
I have just upgraded my router with plusnet and the problem does seem to coincide with that event. However, my neighbour has had no problem since getting his new router!
Please help, I am getting withdrawal symptoms and there is a chance that I may have to face the real world soon!!!!!
all the best

Is this over a wired or wireless connection? If wireless, are you in a position to try wired? Do you still have the old router on hand to try? Either of those things would give a reasonable indication as to whether or not the router is playing a part in what you're seeing.
