PES 2009 PS3

I've just joined PN and thought i'd give my beloved PES a go online again ,not really tried since october time as the lag made it unplayable and all opponents were showin the dreaded RED ping connection , but to my surprise last night i played two games against a player with a GREEN ping connection (never even seen before when with supanet isp) and NO lag .
Anybody on here got this game ?

There is still lag to be found on the servers, but it is waaay better than last years paltry effort.

I've heard it's not so great when there is way more players in the same match

I never thought i'd see the day i prefer FIFA , especially when i spent most my life on pes 5+6!

hi new to the forum so be gentle. i have pes 09 for the ps3 and pc and it is a major improvement over last years attempt of a online game, i do get lag now and again but i've now stopped using wireless for pes (ps3) and touch wood i hardly ever have a problem with lag.

Yeah wireless and gaming do not mix at all. I didn't notice so much on cod but killzone was unplayable. I can imagine how frustrating pes would be with lag, the response time can be a pain in that game as it is.
