I had a Netgear modem and everything worked fine but my son's and daughter's PC's were a little slow so I upgraded to a Belkin N+ wireless modem / router. Better speed for the PC's but now Xbox live doesn't work. It connects to the network, connects to the internet but fails at the Xbox Live stage. I get an error message saying the MTU is not high enough (needs to be 1364 or higher). I have checked the router settings and it was at 1450 and I have now changed it to 1364. Xbox support say I need to ask my ISP (PlusNet) to change the MTU setting their end. They say they cannot. Belkin support ran through a few other changes to the router settings but I still get the MTU error message, Any ideas anyone ?
