I've been connected to the master/test socket (faceplate unscrewed, whichever that is) via a new filter since the issue was raised on the 3rd

That's a little concerning as the number of disconnections has increased since then! Could you stay in the test socket but switch back to the old filter?

Connected with the microfilter previously in use. Still in the test socket
Cheers
EDIT: Attached router stats from after this was done

The line hasn't dropped since 6.20pm yesterday, which is when I assume you changed the filter over. How's the gaming been since then?

Re: Multiple users logged into games results in disconnect after lag spike

Gaming has been fine, and stable alongside a steady (low latency) general connection, although I've yet to try Youtube.
Yes 18:20 I walked through the door and swapped  filters. It seems so strange, that the filter in use before raising the fault was also giving us drop-outs. Is this possibly the interleaving making a difference then?
Thanks for your help and patience throughout Chris

Re: Multiple users logged into games results in disconnect after lag spike

Did any incoming phone calls on your landline happen at same time as any disconnections with either filter?  Try 17070 option 1 for ringback and see, a faulty filter during a incoming call can cause you to lose connection

Our phone is never plugged in, we only own one for line tests. We each have mobiles with free minutes, and answering the landline to telemarketers got old quite quickly

Should I replace the faceplate on the master socket now?
