MW3 Elite for PS3

I decided I was going to need extra MW3 maps quite soon so checked on Playstation Store where the Elite upgrade was on offer at £34.99 for a years subscription.
6 failed attempts later at putting funds onto my account in order to make the purchase I gave up.
I then had a look on http://www.live-codes.com/products.php?con=Playstation and found a £35 pre-paid card for £33.99.
I bought one which was immediately emailed to me. I went into Playstation Store, keyed in the code and purchased the upgrade.
My bank's fraud department called me later concerning the failed payment attempts and I confirmed that they were invalid.
PS I've used live-codes before for Xbox codes and found them reliable.

I've used them before for XBox live subscriptions, tends to be cheaper than retail and the codes do tend to arrive very quickly.

Haven't bought MW3 and this really puts me off getting it. 35 quid a year is an offer? pft.

There has been quite a bit of criticism of the subscription charge but if, like me you purchase all the DLC for a game like MW3 the difference is minimal and there is an alleged saving by purchasing it all up front.
Time will tell.
When your friends have new maps and you can't play a game with them because you haven't.......

elite is worth it if you buy the map packs as you save £13 and get all the comps and elite tv etc through your ps3. and elite is going to contnue through onto black op's 2(ECLIPES)  so if you buy premium now you will still have it this time next year.  can someone help me with lag on my ps3 plz. PN hve halfed my ping rate on the 1st day and a jitter of 9 . now on my 7th day my ping and jitter has went up.  its at 68ping and 21jitter when on the 1st day it was 35 and9.  need help plz. thank you
