Hi there, new Plus.net user here. Got the Thompson router,.
Playing xbox360 fine for a month, but recently I've been waiting like 20 minutes to get an online game. Works eventually, but not great.
Posted this is another forum as assumed it was the game, turns out it's the router...
It sayd Strict on the NAT notification on MW2. How would one go about changing it please?
Thanks

Is it a thompson TG585v7?
Port forwarding the correct ports did nothing for me, but putting your Xbox360 into the DMZ thingy will mean you will always have open nat.
Open up your control panel thing and click on the DMZ, your xbox will be listed under some stupid set of letters and numbers, you can rename it to Xbox if you wish.
Apply, restart xbox and router and stuff and there you go.
The DMZ feature means that whatever is using it bypasses all the security and other rubbish, so using it for a computer is unwise but i have yet to see any drawbacks to using it for the xbox.
