For as long as I can remember now I've been having a bad experience with online games, mainly cs go, and I've just come across the thread about checking your traffic prioritization.
After checking in CS:GO with Wireshark I notice...
Differentiated Services Field: 0x00 (DSCP: CS0, ECN: Not-ECT)
...which according to the thread should be 0x48 or 0xA0 for gaming traffic. So is my traffic incorrectly shaped for CS:GO/Gaming?
Cheers!

Hi @FrazUK
I can see you've contacted us and that they've added the pro add on, can you let us know if that's making much of a difference?
Thanks

I don't think it is. I feel delayed in all online games and it's so frustrating. It feels like everything I do is delayed even though my ping is fine.

The traffic is being prioritized as shown in wireshark, it's just that gaming still feels off/delayed.
Looking at my FECs, they're going up at an average of 27000 per second (current total is 2092039457 / 72 after 2 days uptime). Would this make gaming feel delayed/unstable? Here's the full line stats...
Status: UP Line State: showtime_tc_sync [0x801] Line Mode: G.993.2 (VDSL2) Annex: B Profile: 17a Data Rate: 40.000 Mb/s / 7.198 Mb/s Max. Attainable Data Rate (ATTNDR): 49.951 Mb/s / 7.965 Mb/s Latency: 13.0 ms / 0.0 ms Line Attenuation (LATN): 20.4 dB / 26.3 dB Signal Attenuation (SATN): 20.1 dB / 26.2 dB Noise Margin (SNR): 4.8 dB / 6.3 dB Aggregate Transmit Power(ACTATP): 6.4 dB / 6.6 dB Forward Error Correction Seconds (FECS): 2129129304 / 74 Errored seconds (ES): 62 / 9607 Severely Errored Seconds (SES): 37 / 0 Loss of Signal Seconds (LOSS): 2 / 620 Unavailable Seconds (UAS): 130 / 130 Header Error Code Errors (HEC): 0 / 0 Non Pre-emtive CRC errors (CRC_P): 132 / 0 Pre-emtive CRC errors (CRCP_P): 0 / 0 Line Uptime: 1d 5h 47m 17s ATU-C System Vendor ID: Infineon 178.6 Power Management Mode: L0 - Synchronized
Ive also been getting some connection drops recently and my line seems to be banded at 40mb.
Saying that for the past 3 years or so gaming has felt off, first 2 years of that being on bt infinity 2 and the past year on Plusnet over 2 houses next door to each other. I've had 5 or 6 engineers out during that time, they come, dabble around a bit then I assume go to the cabinet then come back and dabble a bit more, then leave saying all is fine (line reset). It usually is fine for a while but eventually goes back to how it is now. Usually, after an engineer has been, the line performs nicely for anything from a couple of weeks to a few months and that's when DLM whacks interleaving on and I start getting tons of errors. The errors above are the most I've ever seen though.
Every engineer that's been out has also gone on about how [-Censored-] the network is round here. It's old aluminium wiring, and the last engineer said it's on it's way out and the cables are knackered/failing)
Why won't Openreach replace this old junk wiring?
